Harlequins Rugby League : Temata scoops Harlequins top award

The 31-year-old prop picked up the award at a ceremony held at London’s prestigious Hurlingham Club and attended by the players, coaches, fans and sponsors.

The award was presented by head coach Brian McDermott who commended Karl for his dedication and immense workrate throughout the season.

The other big winner of the night was David Howell who was voted Player’s Player of the Year by his peers and was also named Top Try Scorer with a tally of 15 tries in all competitions this season.

Other winners included Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook who collected the Ironman Award after not having missed a game all season, and Reserve Grade Manager Arthur Lane was named Club Person of the Year.
