With the Women's Rugby World Cup Final taking place at the Twickenham Stoop on Sunday 5th September, the decision was made to switch to the Friday evening.
Earlier this month, Harlequins trialled their first ever Friday night fixture at the Stoop on an evening which saw them beat Bradford Bulls 35-18.
Harlequins RL General Manager, Paul Blanchard explained:
"We have been aware for some time that we could not fulfil the fixture as originally planned and our options were the Friday evening, which was always our preference, or to take the game to an alternative venue and play either Saturday or Sunday.
"We were very keen to assess the feedback from our supporters, sponsors, players and staff about our first Friday night game which was overwhelmingly positive.
"The RFL approved the fixture change yesterday and we can now look forward to opening the gates for another big Friday night at the Stoop."
Harlequins RL head coach, Brian McDermott, added:
"There was a fantastic atmosphere at our first Friday night game which really helped lift the players. They are all looking forward to another exciting Friday night game when Warrington come to town."
Please note, as with all fixtures taking place on the final weekend of the season, this match is subject to SKY selection which will be made no later than August 22nd.
Tickets for all Harlequins Rugby League home games are available from just £15 adults, £10 concessions, £5 under 16s. Call 0871 527 1315 or visit click HERE.
