<1r>The 26 year old Australian, most threatening at full-back or in the halves, will return to familiar surroundings having played for Harlequins RL in 2005 and 2006. Dorn scored 32 tries in 50 appearances for the Quins.
Dorn joins Harlequins RL from Castleford Tigers where he has spent the 2008 season, having previously spent one season with the Salford City Reds. Dorn also played for NRL clubs Sydney Roosters and Manly Sea Eagles prior to his original move to London in 2005.
Harlequins Rugby League Head Coach Brian McDermott has said:
'We are pleased that Luke has decided to re-join Harlequins Rugby League for 2009.'
'I think every one recognises him as being one of the most potent attacking players in Super League. The squad will benefit from his style of play and he is also looking forward to playing with us.'
Dorn, who is currently the third highest try scorer in the engage Super League competition with 19 tries to date, has confirmed McDermott's comment saying:
'I am really excited about coming back to London after 2 years away and I am very much looking forward to working with Brian McDermott again, and with Billy Peden. They are two coaches who are very good at getting the best out of their players.'
Dorn joins fellow Australians Luke Williamson (Manly Sea Eagles) and Chad Robinson (Parramatta Eels) who have also signed on for two years with Harlequins RL from 2009.
