Jamie attended Feltham College in Hounslow and originally played rugby league for West London Sharks, where he represented London & South region for three consecutive years.

In June 2008 Jamie became the youngest player to represent the Club in Super League when he played against Wigan at the JJB Stadium. Two further first grade appearances against St Helens and Castleford soon followed.

Over 6ft tall, extremely quick with good passing skills, Jamie played for the Under 18's at fullback, although his first grade appearances were on the wing.

Jamie spent the 2009 pre-season training with the first grade squad and went on to make several Super League appearances.
